Garage Storage Space Is Limited
You can have a much more
productive garage by making the most of wall and ceiling space.
Garage storage space is at a premium today.
People have collected so many unused items, many with sentimental value.
Many of the items you choose to store in your garage do have practical
uses, but are used so infrequently it does not make sense to keep them
in your house. You do not want to throw them away, because you know that
eventually you will need them. Lucky for you there is a solution to your
storage problems.
Unfortunately, your garage gets stuffed full of all those items you
don’t know where to put when you clean your home. Think of all the
rarely used sports equipment or hobby tools that are stored in your
garage. You paid good money for those things, and know that you will
want to use them occasionally. You don’t want to throw them away, so
into the garage they go.
Over time your garage can become so cluttered that you can hardly move
around in there. There is hope. You need to learn how to make the best
of the storage space you have in your garage. One way is to make good
use of “dead” space. This includes areas that are open, but often not
used including ceilings and walls. Ways to use “dead” space include
hoists, stands, jacks, cradles, hangars, and shelving.
Garage floor space is limited. The solution – look up. You can have a
much more productive garage by making the most of wall and ceiling
space. There are bike racks that will store bicycles on the ceilings,
sports equipment can be hung in bags along the walls, and floor to
ceiling shelving can make room for all kinds a materials.
Organizing your garage gives it more functionality; you have enough
space for work and storage. No longer will your garage be a dungeon full
of old stuff. Think of everything you could do in this newly organized
space.
